Brazil, Russia, India and China still behind in cloud computing

According to the Business Software Alliance:
BRIC nations all came at the bottom half of 24 countries surveyed

• Brazil moved from final to 22nd position
• China moved to 19th position from 21st
• India moved to 17th position from 19th
• Russia moved to 14th position from 16th

The rise of the Cloud is mainly driven by its flexibility, rapidity to start at a minimal cost and a lower TCO as infrastructure is shared between companies.



The report highlights Singapore for its innovative approach which has allowed the city state to avoid many of the mistakes of others.
